We received a surprise today at the Bergamo Field Hospital.

The Moroccan community in Gandino, a small village in Bergamo, delivered traditional sweets to the workers involved in the fight against COVID-19.

“We want to demonstrate our closeness to all healthcare professionals and volunteers,” they wrote, “with the hope that all this will make us stronger and more united.”

Even small gestures can represent the importance of solidarity in these difficult times. ❤️
