There are striking parallels between COVID-19 and another deadly pandemic: HIV.
In the AIDS crisis, pharma companies made vast profits as millions were left behind. History is repeating itself today.
In Africa alone, it’s estimated up to 12 million people died needlessly in the time it took to make HIV treatment universally available. We cannot allow it to happen again with COVID-19. We will not.
Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, Winnie Byanyima and millions are again fighting for change. Many more will die if we don’t succeed.
