Kabul. Today, 3 explosions hit the funeral of Senator Ezadyar’s son, killed during yesterday’s protests. Local media speak of 19 deaths and dozens of injured.
Sixteen of the wounded were taken to our hospital where our operating rooms have worked non stop for three days.
“The tension in the city is very high, we do not know what to expect yet,” says Dejan, our Programme Coordinator in Afghanistan. “In recent months, the situation has continued to worsen, and even in the capital, security is not guaranteed. Our hospital is always full and there is no respite for anyone.”
