To mark the 30th anniversary of our founding, EMERGENCY, alongside Desall, is inviting students, young designers and upcoming talent from around the world to come up with a drawing of “a story yet to be written”, which depicts the work, values and ideas of our organisation.
EMERGENCY’s logo will be the starting point on this journey. We are not looking for a restyling of the existing logo; rather, it should be made part of an image that, as a whole, depicts a vision for the future – a vision based on peaceful coexistence between peoples, on rights that are acknowledged without discrimination, on solidarity and mutual respect.
You can take part until 29 February 2024. Download the project files at: https://www.desall.com/Contest/EMERGENCY-Draw-Your-Future/Brief.
Participation is free of charge and open to students, young designers and upcoming talent aged 18 or older, from any country.
Participants may submit one or more unedited, copyright-free images. Photographic content or images created using AI software will not be accepted.
Prizes and Recognitions
- The winning drawing will be printed on a celebratory T-shirt, which will be part of a collection of 12 T-shirts with drawings by internationally famous artists.
- The winner will receive a free set of all 12 celebratory T-shirts by the end of 2024.
- Their professional profile will be added to the international communication plan used by EMERGENCY and Desall.
On the jury are Angela Fittipaldi (coordinator of EMERGENCY’s Graphics department), Max Casalini (architect and graphic designer), Guido Scarabottolo (architect and illustrator), Mauro Biani (comic book artist and illustrator) and Davide Scomparin (founder of Desall).
The jury will assess the submitted drawings on the basis of how well they convey the message, how consistent they are with the brand, their aesthetic quality, emotional impact and technical feasibility.
