EMERGENCY ❤️ Little Amal!

Finally, she’s nearly here! We are looking forward to welcoming a very special guest to our headquarters on Saturday… Amal is 3.5 metre-tall puppet on an incredible voyage from the Turkish-Syrian border to the United Kingdom. EMERGENCY has been following her journey and taking part in events as she travels north through Italy. This Saturday, Amal will discover Casa Emergency in Milan, a space that is dedicated to healthcare, human rights and peace. There, she will find other children her age to play and learn with. 

Her journey represents one that has been undertaken so many times before by refugees fleeing from conflict and persecution. Little Amal is travelling over 8,000km embodying the urgent message “Don’t forget about us.”

This extraordinary artistic project, created by Good Chance in collaboration with world-famous creators of War Horse, Handspring Puppet Company, is a travelling festival of art and hope in support of refugees.
