16 extraordinary photographers. 24 images showing a side of Afghanistan we rarely see. EMERGENCY has teamed up with London-based social enterprise Ishkar to launch a photography fundraiser in support of EMERGENCY’s healthcare facilities in Afghanistan. Internationally-renowned photographers have generously donated some of their favourite shots of the country, with the aim of showing another side of Afghanistan.

All profits will go towards EMERGENCY’s network of hospitals, first aid posts and healthcare clinics across Afghanistan. The charity began working in the country in 1999 and has treated over 7 million patients since.
