Psychological support for health workers, former coronavirus patients and families of people still suffering from the disease.
In Marche, one of the Italian regions most sorely tested by the virus, we launched a psychological support service in mid May 2020.
Intended for medical staff from the hospital, cured or discharged former coronavirus patients, families of people still in hospital, and anyone who has lost a loved one to the virus, the service runs from our mobile clinic at the Covid-19 hospital in Camerino.
Anyone can take advantage of the service by coming directly to the mobile clinic, or by calling, e-mailing or Skyping our staff to agree a day and time for an appointment.
All services respect fully the current legislation on social distancing, and personal protection is worn throughout by both staff and users. There is also a triage procedure to contain the virus, as at all our facilities in Italy and elsewhere, with a view to public health.
The service is run in collaboration with ASUR Marche Area Vasta 3, who we’ve been working with since February 2018.
Furthermore, we are still providing psychological support and nursing for locals in the areas of the province of Macerata hit by the earthquake, where our staff have been working since March 2018.
